GreenBar

Platform & security

Local-first AI you can actually audit.

GreenBar processes your financial data on your own machine, shows its reasoning for every suggestion, and refuses to close a period without a named human approval. No black boxes, no data leaving by default.

Architecture

Your data stays where you put it

Everything below the dashed line runs on your machine. Nothing crosses into the cloud unless you explicitly turn on collaboration.

Cloud sync · opt-in

Only the approvals you choose to share

Named approval to close

By default, 0 bytes of transaction data are sent to our servers. Cloud sync is opt-in and scoped to the approvals you choose to share.

What we guarantee

Three principles, enforced in the software

Every AI action is explainable

If the engine flags an anomaly, it tells you why. If it suggests a match, it shows the score. No verdicts you can't interrogate.

Data localisation is the default

Processing happens on your machine. Cloud is opt-in, not the price of entry. We don't make money from your data.

Human sign-off is required

A period cannot close without a named approval. The software makes that impossible to skip — not merely inconvenient.

Explainability

Every AI action shows its work

The engine never asks you to trust a verdict you can't interrogate. When it flags an anomaly, it tells you which detector fired and why. When it proposes a match, it shows the confidence score and the fields that lined up.

  • Anomalies cite the detector that fired and the underlying values.
  • Match suggestions expose their confidence score and matched fields.
  • Every resolution is written to an exportable audit trail.
