Finish bank reconciliations with the exceptions and sign-off in one place.
Clearing proposes candidate matches and surfaces the exceptions. You close the bank rec. Clearing keeps the signed trail — all on your own computer. Built for bookkeepers, small firms, and owner-operators.
Clearing, for reconciliation, is available now starting at $199/year.
Runs on your computer. No account. No SOC 2 yet. Security brief and questionnaire →

How every GreenBar tool works
The same three rules behind every tool.
Every tool we build runs on your own computer and follows the same three rules. Clearing does today; AP Pay is being built the same way. See where your data lives →
It shows its work
Every suggestion arrives with its reasoning and a confidence score, never just an answer. In Clearing that's four match passes: exact, reference, tolerance, then fuzzy. Each is scored on the amount, the date, the reference, and the description, so you check the work rather than trust it.
Nothing is final without your signature
AI proposes; it never commits. Nothing is finalised until a named person signs off, and whoever reviews the work can't be the one who prepared it. After that the record is sealed, so any later change shows.
No LLM. Processing stays on the machine.
The matching engine runs on your own machine, with outbound connections blocked. Your clients' books are never sent to us or to a model vendor to be processed. Optional US bank feeds via Plaid are available on Pro, opt-in, and off by default. Solo reconciles from CSV or Excel. Live two-way QuickBooks Online and Xero sync is not shipped; file import works today.
Not for enterprise finance teams on BlackLine or FloQast — if you need multi-entity consolidation or SOX compliance, you're already served. GreenBar is for the bookkeeper closing 3–50 client sets, not the controller closing one.
